Mathew Harris

Mathew has over 20 years’ experience supporting the not-for-profit sector, primarily through innovative digital and payments solutions. He began his career by designing and operating a Direct Debit Bureau, helping to grow the operation to Tier A status and processing more than 6 million Direct Debit transactions annually. Building on this success, Mathew expanded into card payment solutions, integrating fintech capabilities and leading the achievement of ISO 27001 accreditation and PCI compliance. He has led Development and Customer Service teams to deliver robust payment platforms, response handling systems, and eCommerce integrations. Alongside this, Mathew has worked closely with acquiring banks to establish and operate card merchant services, and brings strong expertise in cloud-based architecture, particularly within Microsoft Azure. Outside of work, Mat enjoys spending time with family and friends. He follows a wide range of sports, is passionate about music, and loves road trips across Europe—particularly relaxing in the South of France whenever possible.
