Batch Control & FIFO
ELOVATE offers batch control solutions for pick and pack, including providing a batch code that can be shared across multiple units of stock, rather than a serial, which is normally unique to every unit of stock. We can also scan or log serial and batch information at the pack stage automatically when despatching an order.
In addition to this, we pick stock on a FIFO (First In, First Out) basis. Stock will automatically get allocated on a FEFO (First Expired, First Out) method for consumables, tracking best before dates. We’ll pick stock on a FIFO basis if you have a mixture of stock in the same location with expiry dates and no expiry dates.
